THE CIRCLE LINE is a rearrangement of a continuous video sequence shot by the artist from a train window, in and near Augsburg, Germany in 2003.

 

There are four sections to this remix of reality (Long, Short, Walls and Stripes), each with its own formal and narrative characteristics. Every episode begins in the same spot on a station platform and returns there after making a detour somewhere else.
